NcvtOnline Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy ("Policy") is a single, centralized policy that governs the entire NcvtOnline Platform ecosystem, including our website/platform at ncvtonline.com and every official Android application listed in Section 1 below. It describes how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information when you use the Platform, the website, or any of the listed applications (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy.

Account Deletion & Data Removal — Read This First
Because this centralized Policy covers multiple distinct applications, account deletion must be performed inside the specific application whose account and data you want to delete. Each app maintains its own account.
To delete your account: open the relevant application (use the Google Play links in Section 1 to identify/install the correct one), go to Profile → Delete Account, and confirm via the one-time password (OTP) sent to your registered email. Do not use one application to try to delete another application's account — they are not interchangeable unless explicitly stated.
Note on protected URLs: Our applications are WebView-based clients backed by secure, authenticated web sessions. Internal application routes and session-protected pages are not public deletion endpoints and are intentionally not listed in this centralized Policy. Deletion must be performed from within the authenticated session of the specific application itself.
2. Key Distinctions in Our Architecture
- Centralized Privacy Policy: This document is the single policy governing the entire website and application ecosystem under NcvtOnline.
- Application-Specific Account Deletion: Account deletion is isolated per application and must be performed inside the specific app installed from Google Play.
- Google Play Store Links: Used exclusively to help you identify, download, and open the authentic application.
- Internal Application URLs: Session-protected routes are not exposed here and are never a substitute for in-app deletion.

- To track your academic/feature usage and display results, scores, and history;

- To display advertising through Google AdMob (in the apps) and Google AdSense (on ncvtonline.com) on free/ad-supported parts of the Service, including personalized advertising where permitted and non-personalized advertising where required or where you have opted out — see Section 6;
- To respond to support requests and enforce our Terms & Conditions;
- To comply with applicable legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.
5. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Our website/platform at ncvtonline.com (Blogger) and our app-support websites (web-cbt.ncvtonline.com, web-mock.ncvtonline.com, web-qb.ncvtonline.com) use cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage) for the purposes below. The mobile apps use equivalent device-local storage and SDK-based identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID) rather than browser cookies.
| Category | Purpose | Can be disabled? |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly Necessary | Session/authentication state, security, load balancing | No — required for the Service to function |
| Functional | Remembering preferences such as selected course, recent quiz/search activity, or display settings | Yes, via browser/device settings (may degrade functionality) |
| Analytics | Understanding aggregate usage to improve the Service | Yes, via browser/device settings |
| Advertising (Google AdSense on ncvtonline.com) | Google and its advertising partners use cookies — including the DoubleClick/IDE cookie and similar identifiers (e.g., test_cookie) — to serve and measure ads on our Blogger website, including ads based on your visits to this or other sites | Yes, via Google Ad Settings and the opt-out tools listed in Section 6.4 |
| Advertising (Google AdMob in our apps) | Serving and measuring in-app ads using the device Advertising ID | Yes, via device Advertising ID controls / Ad Settings described in Section 6.4 |
Third-party vendors, including Google, may use first-party cookies (such as the Google Analytics cookie, if enabled) and third-party cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) together to serve ads and compile reporting based on your visits to our website and other sites on the Internet. We do not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, as no consistent industry standard for interpreting them has been adopted; you can still control tracking using the cookie and ad-personalization controls described in this Policy.
6. Advertising, AdSense, AdMob, and Interest-Based Ads
We use third-party advertising services to support the free and ad-supported parts of the Service:
- Google AdSense — serves ads on our website/platform at ncvtonline.com (Blogger).
- Google AdMob — serves ads within our Android applications (all three apps; on Mock Test and Question Bank, ads are shown only to users without an active Premium Plan).
You may opt-out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings at https://adssettings.google.com/. For more information on how Google uses data, please review the full Google Advertising Privacy Policy.
6.1 How These Services Work
Google and its advertising partners use cookies (on the website, via AdSense) and advertising/SDK identifiers (in the apps, via AdMob) to serve ads, including ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites/apps ("interest-based" or "personalized" advertising). Data used for this purpose may include the resettable Advertising ID (apps) or a cookie identifier (website); your IP address and the approximate location derived from it; device or browser type and operating system; and pages/screens viewed and ad interactions. This information is used by Google to serve and measure ads and is not used by us to directly identify you by name.
6.2 Personalized vs. Non-Personalized Ads
Where you have not opted out and any consent required by applicable law has been obtained, you may be served personalized ads based on your activity and inferred interests. You may instead choose to see non-personalized ads, which are based on limited contextual information (such as the current page or app content, or coarse location) rather than an interest profile built from your activity.
6.3 Children and Advertising
The Service is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly serve child-directed advertising or enable personalized advertising to users we know to be children. See Section 13 for our full Children's Privacy commitments.
6.4 Your Choices and Opt-Outs
- Android (AdMob): Go to your device's Settings → Google → Ads, and turn on "Opt out of Ads Personalization," or reset your Advertising ID at any time from the same menu.
- Website (AdSense): Visit Google Ads Settings to control personalized advertising across Google services, or opt out of a participating third-party vendor's use of cookies via the Digital Advertising Alliance's opt-out page or the Network Advertising Initiative's opt-out page. Users in the EEA/UK can also visit Your Online Choices.
- Opting out of personalization does not stop ads from being shown; it means the ads you see will be less tailored to your interests. Non-personalized ads may still use limited contextual and location data.
6.5 Consent
Where required by applicable law (for example, GDPR for users in the EEA/UK, or the DPDP Act in India), we and/or Google rely on your consent before serving personalized ads or setting non-essential advertising cookies or identifiers, and you can withdraw that consent at any time using the controls in Section 6.4. Google's handling of advertising data through AdSense and AdMob is additionally governed by Google's own policies, including its EU User Consent Policy and Ads Data Processing Terms.
6.6 California Privacy Rights — "Do Not Sell or Share"
Under applicable US state privacy laws (e.g., the California Consumer Privacy Act), the use of advertising identifiers and cookies for interest-based advertising through AdSense/AdMob may be considered a "sale" or "share" of personal information. You can opt out of this by using the personalization controls in Section 6.4, which apply to both the website and the apps.

7. Legal Basis for Processing
Where applicable, we process Personal Data under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act") and, for users in the European Economic Area, the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"), on the following bases: your consent (e.g., Google Sign-In, cookies), performance of a contract (delivering purchased Courses/Subscriptions or the Premium Plan), and our legitimate interests in securing and improving the Service.
8. Disclosure of Information to Third Parties
We do not sell Personal Data for monetary consideration. We share information only with service providers strictly necessary to operate the Service, including the advertising partners described in Section 6:
| Recipient | Purpose | Policy |
|---|---|---|
| Google (Sign-In, Firebase Authentication, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Google Play Billing, Play Integrity) | Authentication, purchase processing, push notifications, device attestation | Google Privacy Policy |
| Google AdMob | In-app ad serving and measurement (see Section 6) | AdMob Privacy Policy |
| Google AdSense | Website ad serving and measurement on ncvtonline.com (see Section 6) | Google Ads Policy |
| Razorpay Software Pvt. Ltd. | Payment processing (cards, netbanking, UPI incl. Google Pay/PhonePe) | Razorpay Privacy Policy |
We may also disclose information where required by law, regulation, court order, or governmental request, or to establish, exercise, or defend our legal rights.
9. Data Retention
| Data Type | Retention Period | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| Account data | Until account deletion is requested | Service provision |
| Purchase/payment records | Minimum 8 years, or as required by applicable tax/accounting law | Statutory financial record-keeping |
| Academic/usage data | Until account deletion, or 3 years of inactivity | Progress tracking, dispute resolution |
| Advertising identifiers/cookies (AdSense/AdMob) | Governed by Google's own retention periods, not ours; you may reset or clear these at any time using the controls in Section 6.4 | Ad serving, measurement, and fraud prevention |
| Support communications | Up to 3 years from last contact | Quality assurance, dispute resolution |
10. Data Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards — including encrypted transport, access controls, and secure processing of payments through PCI-DSS compliant gateways — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request to: (a) access the Personal Data we hold about you; (b) correct inaccurate or incomplete data; (c) withdraw consent and request deletion of your account and associated Personal Data; (d) receive information about how your data has been processed; (e) lodge a grievance with our Grievance Officer. To exercise the deletion right, use the in-app Account Deletion flow for the specific application (see Section 1 and the notice above); for all other requests, email ncvtonline.com@gmail.com with the subject "Data Request." We will respond within 30 days, except where retention is legally mandated (e.g., financial records). For advertising-related choices, including opting out of personalized ads or the "sale/share" of information to advertising partners, see Section 6.4 and 6.6.
12. Account Deletion (Application-Specific)
You can permanently delete your account and associated Personal Data at any time, without contacting support, from within the specific application:
- Open the application whose account you want to delete (identify it via Section 1's Google Play links).
- Sign in and go to the Profile tab.
- Select Delete Account and confirm the on-screen deletion prompt.
- We will send a one-time password (OTP) to the email address registered on your account.
- Enter the OTP to verify your request. Your account and associated data are permanently deleted only after the OTP is successfully verified.
Deletion is immediate and permanent once verified; it cannot be undone, and we do not retain a user-facing copy of deleted data. If you are unable to access your Profile page (for example, your account is locked), email ncvtonline.com@gmail.com from your registered email address to request deletion instead, stating which application's account you want deleted.
User Data Deletion Request
You have the right to request the deletion of your account data collected through Google Authentication. To exercise this right, please contact us using the details below. Upon receiving your request, we will take reasonable steps to delete your personal data from our records, subject to any legal or legitimate business obligations to retain certain information.
13. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed at children under 13 (or the applicable age of consent in your jurisdiction) and we do not knowingly collect Personal Data from such children without verifiable parental consent. We also do not knowingly serve personalized or interest-based advertising to users we know to be children, consistent with Google AdMob's and AdSense's requirements for treating known child-directed traffic. If you believe a child has provided us with Personal Data, contact ncvtonline.com@gmail.com so we can delete it.
14. International Data Transfers
Our service providers (including Google and Razorpay) may process and store data on servers located outside your country of residence. By using the Service, you consent to such cross-border transfer, storage, and processing in accordance with this Policy.
15. Automated Decision-Making
We do not use your Personal Data for any automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects concerning you. Ad targeting performed by Google (Sections 6.1–6.2) is carried out by Google under its own policies and does not itself produce legal or similarly significant effects on you.
16. Grievance Officer
In accordance with applicable Indian law, you may direct privacy-related grievances to our Grievance Officer at ncvtonline.com@gmail.com. We aim to acknowledge grievances within 48 hours and resolve them within 30 days.
17. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date above; continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
