The Directorate General of Training (DGT), under the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, has introduced centralized practical examination question papers for the top 7 ITI trades in the upcoming ITI CTS Practical Examination 2026.

This new system aims to maintain uniformity, transparency, and standardization in practical examinations across all ITIs and NSTIs in India.

Main Highlights of the Circular

  • DGT will provide practical question papers centrally.
  • Question papers will be password protected.
  • Password will be shared 30 minutes before the exam.
  • Separate practical papers will be provided for all five exam days.
  • Bill of Materials (BoM) will be shared 15 days before the exam.
