The Directorate General of Training (DGT), Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, has officially released the detailed schedule for the ITI Craftsmen Training Scheme (CTS) Leftover/Supplementary Examination 2025, to be held in December 2025. This examination provides an additional opportunity for ITI trainees who could not appear or qualify in the previous main examinations.
Who Is Eligible for ITI Supplementary Exam 2025?
According to the notification, the following ITI trainees can appear for the exam, subject to eligibility confirmed by their respective institutes:
1. Trainees Eligible but Failed / Absent / Debarred Previously
Those who met attendance and Formative Assessment (FA) requirements but did not clear or appear in earlier exams.
2. Trainees With Missing Attendance or FA Records
If attendance/FA data wasn’t entered earlier but the institute now declares the trainee eligible.
3. Trainees with 50%–80% Attendance
Trainees having attendance less than 80% but ≥50% may appear if they make up attendance through extra classes before the exam.
4. Trainees Whose PRNs Were Generated After the Main Exam
They can appear if all eligibility conditions are fulfilled before the start of the supplementary exam.
